In the picture above is the Assyrian cavalry unit. The Assyrians were the first ones to make and introduce this unit. This unit had one soldier who rode bareback on horseback, wearing chain mail armor and leather boots. The cavalryman in the center of the picture is using a bow as his weapon. It looks like he is drawing is bow back and aiming at his target. The danger in doing this is that there is a chance that he could fall off and break a few bones because he is not on a saddle or anything that can keep him on the horse without falling. The cavalryman in the left of the picture seems to be riding his horse and looking for a target. He has a bag with a bundle of arrows in it, so he might also be using a bow as his weapon. Unlike the cavalryman in the center, he is holding on to a rope that is tied to the horse's neck. There is still a danger in doing this though. The horse could kick the cavalryman to the right or left, which would make him fall and break a few bones.
